About
Who we are
Queen Kabob Mediterranean Kitchen was built on friendship, family, and a lifelong love of cooking.
Mary and Georgina both came to the United States from Syria carrying with them the traditions and recipes they grew up with. In Syrian culture, food is at the center of family, community, and hospitality, with meals often shared through spreads of grilled meats, fresh salads, dips, and pita bread.
For Mary, cooking has been part of life since childhood. She began cooking for her family at a young age and continued that passion after moving to the United States, where she quickly became known for preparing meals for large church gatherings, family celebrations, and community events. Georgina followed a similar path rooted in love for Mediterranean cuisine. After coming to America from Syria, she spent many years working in a Mediterranean restaurant, gaining hands-on experience in professional kitchens while continuing to cook the dishes she grew up with.
Their friendship grew stronger over the years as they cooked together for family and friends. The two always shared a dream of opening a restaurant where they could share the flavors of their heritage with the community.
Together they bring the perfect balance to Queen Kabob. Georgina brings nearly a decade of restaurant kitchen experience, while Mary brings a lifetime of cooking and business experience. Both women are mothers who raised their families through hard work and dedication, and both share the same passion for cooking large meals and feeding people with care.
Today, Queen Kabob is the result of that shared dream. Mary and Georgina cook the same dishes they have been preparing for their families and community for years — from shawarma and kabobs to hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, and many other Mediterranean favorites. Their goal is simple: to serve authentic food made with heart and to welcome every guest like family.
